The drawings, pen and ink, pencil, charcoal and pastel are all quick sketches completed in 5 to 20 minutes.
What is important is to capture the expressiveness of the subject.
Flamenco subjects give me the greatest opportunity to observe every human emotion.
No where in the preforming arts can I find such sorrow, extreme joy and the power of the human spirit.
Mainly, I am attracted to the wild exuberant happiness that finally emerges, conquering all of the tragic aspects of Flamenco.
